Just returned from my biz trip at Bintan. 6nights at Bintan Lagoon Resort!
Trapped at the island with its simple living there.. where our first Officers' Seminar 2009 was held. Had great experience in organising and met up with many of our Officers and gathered alot of feedback. Considered a successful event.

Departed in the evening 6pm toward the Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal to catch our 8pm ferry last Friday...going there to check on the site. Bought tequila and chivas 12 whiskey for the start of the nights there after 8pm.

Arrived at the Resort around 9plus pm..checked in and had dinner - Indonesian cuisine at the Kopi-O Restaurant and proceed to explore our room. Wrong room assignment...Val and I gotten the twin-sharing bed instead of our requested KING size bed. * Disappointment*

Showered and changed...kick start with the two bottles with Sartaj.
My dear Val got herself drunk first night at Bintan where she lost many rounds of Big 2 and Black Jack. Our mission failed to trick Sartaj. What a waste!
Trying to help her back BUT got locked out from our room coz...the access cards were out of order. We put them too near to our mobile phone.

Out of no choice but to bunk in with Sartaj. And the night was full of Val's snoring sound.
Poor gal, too tired without proper sleep when she got her puppy, Guinness.

There goes our first night on the 22nd. Shall blog more afterwards.
